vfailover recovers your Vmware vSphere™ environment whenever one of your data centers is hit by a disaster or unpredictable outage. Xml files are the base information source to recreate your failed Vmware vSphere™ environment on the other site. Once everything is rescued vfailover reapplies all configuration settings like in "Maintenance Activity" mode. The recovery procedure varies depending on the storage replication status and Vmware vSphere™ ESX status.
